Out-going Class 1965 President, Roger Hansen, summarized the proceedings:
“The 50th Reunion of the Great Class of 1965 was a rousing success. Getting us off to a terrific start on Thursday was the Jim Hamilton Memorial Hike up Mt. Moosilauke with about 30 classmates and guests making the climb. Dedication of our Class of 1965 Bunkhouse and a celebratory reception and dinner followed. We are all delighted with the finished product.
Back to campus Friday, there was a succession of wonderful seminars, meals, and social time. At lunch on Saturday we presented President Hanlon with our Dartmouth College Fund check, the Ceremonial Key to the Bunkhouse and title to the PASSION FOR SKIING book and PASSION FOR SNOW film.
Our Class led the procession of guests, faculty and graduates into Commencement on Sunday. The last formal event of the reunion was a marvelous magic show by our own Rich Block ’65 after dinner on Monday.”
